From one trial area to the whole yard.

Maintain Pavements is the hardstand and industrial surfaces business of the Maintain group. We supply SuperBase, design the dosage for your actual base material, prove it on a trial area, and train your crew to run it as routine work.

What Maintain Pavements provides

From the first trial area through to handover.

  • Supply and logistics to your yard.
  • Dosage design for your actual base material, not a generic rate card.
  • CBR testing before and after, issued as a trial report.
  • Application methodology and method statements for approval.
  • On-site supervision for the first application.
  • Crew training so your own operators run it from then on.

How we start

One representative area first, then the rest of the yard in stages, so it keeps trading.

  1. Yard walk

Review the areas, the base material and what the current surface is costing to hold each year.

  2. Trial area

Nominate one representative area and treat it.

  3. Test and report

CBR before and after, with dosage and depth confirmed.

  4. Roll out by area

Staged so the yard keeps trading.

  5. Handover

Your crew and your plant, running it as routine work.

Measured, not asserted.

The ideas the method is built on.

Use the base you have
Usually the material already in the yard is all that is needed. New roadbase comes in only where design levels require it.
Built, not coated
The binder sits through the full depth of the layer rather than on top of it, and compaction develops the bond.
Ordinary plant
A grader, water cart and roller. No paving crew and no pour.
Measured, not asserted
Soaked CBR before and after, on your own yard material, issued as a documented figure rather than a brochure claim.
Area by area
Start with one trial area, then roll out in stages so the yard keeps trading.
Your crew runs it
Training and supervision for the first application, then your operators run it as routine work.

Nominate one area.

We will treat it, test it, and put the numbers beside a concrete quote and a year of patching.

A trial area tests the surface, the strength figure and the business case at the same time, on your material, in your yard.
